Project Sussex Kids is the Sussex County Council for Young Children, an initiative of the New Jersey Department of Children and Families spearheaded by Project Self-Sufficiency. County Councils for Young Children have been established in all 21 New Jersey counties to bring together parents, caregivers, health, education and social service professionals to enhance communication, coordination and collaboration of services for children from prenatal through age eight.
We are very excited to be offering such a valuable resource to the Sussex County Community! Join us to discuss the needs of your family and community.
Sub-committees focused on children with special needs, Spanish-speaking families, expectant parents and families with infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children meet regularly.
To get involved, contact Haley McCracken at 973-940-3500 or at sussexkids@projectselfsufficiency.org.
